KEVIN MOORE TO BE OPEN AGAIN?
The keyboard god after love in a space dye vest

Original Dream Theater keyboardist Kevin Moore
wrote several song lyrics during his tenure with
the band, all of which; while excellent; were
downright depressing. However, amid rumors that
he might be feeling more upbeat than usual,
Cut Out Bin Editor in Chief T.J. Swoboda interviewed
the phenomonal keyboard player to give readers
a view of Kevin's current state.
COB: So, Kevin, is it true you're feeling happier these
days?
KM: I'll smile and I'll learn to pretend/
And I'll never be open again/
And I'll have no more dreams to defend/
And I'll never be open again.
COB: Ugh, sounds like you're pretty depressed again, huh?
KM: So many ways to drown a man/
So many ways to drag him down/
Some are fast and some take years and years.
COB: So how exactly are you feeling?
KM: Lost in the sky/
Clouds roll by and I roll with them.
COB: You can trust me, we can go off the record...
KM: So you tell me "trust me" I can trust you/
Just let me show you.
COB: Okay...
Hey, it's the best I could do! Kevin Moore circa 1989.
KM: Doing fine...
COB: Great! You sound better already.
KM: ...But don't wast me time/
Tell me what it is you want to say.
COB: Well, uh, I don't know, what's your day been
like, Kevin?
KM:Morning comes too early/
And nighttime falls too late.
COB: How's your significant other?
KM: She stares at the ceiling/
And tries not to think...
And water can't cover her memory/
And ashes can't answer her pain.
...And you can tell your stepfather I said so!
COB: Word to your mutha. You said it all, Kevin.
ACTUNG!: What you just read is BULLSHIT!!! I made it up! Muchas gracias, merci boku,
yob tvoyu mat, kuti-kala wahhhalas...
